Rates & Policies

The standard residential rate is based on the assumption of a 3/4 inch water supply pipe size.  Larger pipe sized require the application of a higher rate.  For instance: a single family unit would be $36.00 whereas a four-plex would be $144.00.

Commercial rates are based on several factors.   A procedure was developed to evaluate commercial sites and assign a number of EDU's (Equivalent Dwelling Units) for each. Foremost of these are whether the site has food preparation, a public restroom, a particularly high need for water and whether there are associated living quarters.
